FestivalForGood: Hush TeaBar in The Secret Garden

Seeding Silence

Brought to you by Hush TeaBar

Hush TeaBar invites you to embark on a journey of experiential empathy in a cup. Step into the shoes - where the Deaf teach you to listen better and lead you into a journey of inward reflection of awareness and peace. A relationship with self - sit in silence and listen to your heart, each sip tells a story, your (personal) story.

Engage in signs, contemplate in TeaWisdom reflection and join the Hush-it-On movement. Come and join us for a multi-sensorial experience at the FestivalForGood.

Be open. Be curious.

Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Cost: $60/pax

Where $10 will be donated to support the youth #YouthXHush movement to promote mental wellness, empathy and inclusion to the young.

As Singapore’s first roving silent teabar, Hush brings the world of the Deaf and Hearing together through a cup of tea. The social movement presents a series of multi-sensorial pockets of experiential empathy, guided by our Deaf TeaRistas - with silence, and in silence.

This session is part of The Secret Garden - An Experience Capsule at FestivalForGood 2017

“When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else. Most people in the city rush around so, they have no time to look at a flower. I want them to see it whether they want to or not”. - Georgia O'Keeffe

Slow down, breathe and live in the moment. Immerse yourself in our secret garden that is carefully curated by Hello Flowers. Pick the freshest blooms and turn it into a bouquet for someone you love. Experience a unique session of experiential inclusion, empathy and quiet reflection, with a cup of Hush TeaMood. Pamper your hands with gentle touches and colourful flowers painted on by The Nail Social.
